all of the dumplings from this east village shack are pockets full of satisfaction. but these limited edition ones are an innovative twist on the typical fall dessert. sweet, but not too sweet, these steamed dumplings were the perfect pick me in between takes during our look : [witch] photoshoot. the chopsticks even doubled as the wand in the photos.

the colors from the yellow beets, riesling pear, and radish alone made this salad a must-eat [and must-instantly-instagram]. it was the perfect starter for the three course tasting lunch. an average base of arugula was elevated by the nuttiness from the toasted pumpkin seeds and the smooth dollop of fresh-made applesauce. their michelin star is well deserved.

the mickey beignets are on everyone's must-eat disney list. but this seasonal twist made them even more decadent. nothing beats eating dessert out of a paper bag filled with a pound of powdered sugar. the candy apples, coated in stain-your-tongue-orange sugar were sickly sweet. two bites to a deathly blood sugar spike. but for the cute factor alone, they were totally worth it.
